The photographs used to develop this exhibit were donated to the Thunder Bay Finnish Canadian Historical Society by the estate of John Raunio of Geraldton. The photographs are undated, but were likely taken some time during the 1920s or 1930s.
Most of the people in the photographs are not identified. Some faces have been redacted for this exhibit, to protect the privacy of these unknown people. If you have connections to people at the Sanitorium during this time period, please reach out.
