Wrapping it up

In 1905, a closing-out advertisement was placed in the Dawson Daily News on behalf of the Goetzmans' Studio. Years of searching for interesting subjects in professional photography was winding down, only to start another chapter in the life of the Goetzmans, this time in San Francisco.

The photograph supply house and studio along with original negatives were sold to J. Morte H. Craig. Many negatives were lost as a result of water damage from a fire in April 1907.
