A collection of six black and white photographs of various mining sites during the silver mining boom of the 1880's in the Thunder Bay District. These mining sites were collectively a part of the largest silver mining project in Canada at the time. The photos display the following from top left to bottom right:

1. Shaft house and first buildings (Porcupine Mine)
2. Part of Beaver Mine
3. Beaver Mine
4. Elgin Mine first building
5. Rabbit Mountain Mine
6. Badger Mine
