A collection of eight black and white photographs of various mining sites during the silver mining boom of the 1880's in the Thunder Bay District. These mining sites were collectively a part of the largest silver mining project in Canada at the time. The photos display the following from top left to bottom right:

2. Outside of stamp mill (Rabbit Mountain Mine)
3. Powder magazine (Beaver Mine)
4. Silver bricks, crucibles etc. in a laboratory (Badger Mine)
