Description
Black and white photograph of the directors of the Finnish Temperance Society. Also known as the Uusi Yritys or New Attempt Temperance Society, this organization was formed by Finnish Immigrants in early Port Arthur. Along with Finnish-American Workers’ League Imatra #9 they helped construct the Finnish Labour Temple. Individual members have been identified from top left to bottom right as:
