Description
Campaign ticket for J. J. Ward, an incumbent in the 1911 Toronto municipal election. J. J. Ward was a labourist in the early 1900s who won a seat on the Toronto Board of Control seven times from 1905-1911. He is the namesake of the Ward Marathon, a sporting event which ran from 1906-1912 and once in 1932.
