Description
Black and white photograph of the Queens Hotel, the first large scale hotel built in Port Arthur. Destroyed by fire in 1879, it was succeeded by the Northern Hotel in 1885, and eventually the Mariaggi Hotel. The hotel itself can be seen in the background surrounded by a crowd of people.
