4 photos; black and white text

(Shared with all photos on page) "Mining in picture from the rock down and the ground up. These photographs commence with the staking of claims the supply and transportation by canoe of food and equipment, which in many instances proves very costly due to distance and the number of portages encountered en route. In many instances air freighting has reduced cost due to one loading and unloading only being necessary."
