Description
An oral history interview with Mrs. Eva Lamb in Dryden, Ontario. The interview was performed by Helen Lovekin and Karen Dubinsky as part of the Women's Decade Council Herstory project.
During the interview Mrs. Lamb discusses living on a farm in Richan. She moved from Saskatchewan to the Dryden area in 1924, after she was married. She discusses the effect of the wars, raising children during The Great Depression, and women’s suffrage. There is a focus on family life when she was growing up and when she had children of her own. She was an active member of The Women’s Institute in the area and describes the role it had in bringing women together.
