Description
An oral history interview with Mrs. Michalena Stepanik in Kenora, Ontario. The interview was performed by Helen Lovekin and Karen Dubinsky as part of the Women's Decade Council Herstory project.
During the interview, Mrs. Stepanik recalls her experience immigrating to Canada from Ukraine during the war, life during the depression, her experiences as a mother, and participating with the Ukrainian Labour Society and Ukrainian Women’s Association, where she served as president for 12 years.
